Our history
Rebekah Kearey founded Roundhill Financial Management in 1995 after spending the previous eight years gaining experience by working for various national companies of independent financial advisers. The main reason for setting up the firm was to be able to put people first on every level. For example, staff are employed to work in a fully flexible environment where home and family demands need not conflict with the demands of the office. A long-term view is taken when taking on new clients – it does not necessarily follow that immediate profits make a profitable client, so we are prepared to take on clients who need our services, even where there is no immediate gain. We would rather build up a solid client bank to avoid the need for ongoing advertising. We put the long-term needs of people and their lifestyles first by considering environmental and ethical issues in all areas of our activities – from the way we do business to the products actually recommended. There are now two advisers at Roundhill: Rebekah Kearey continues to act as principal and offers advice in all areas of financial planning, with a special interest in ethical and environmental pensions and investments, and tax planning. Rick Wort can also offer advice in all areas of financial planning, but concentrates more in the areas of mortgage and protection planning. Louise Williams and Katharine Crossley are the two administrative staff, without whom the company would surely collapse. Our longer term plans are to stay relatively small, so that we can always know our clients personally, and thus can always put our clients needs first. We are directly regulated by the FSA, and so long as this remains viable, we will continue to do so as we believe this gives us maximum flexibility in the way we work for our clients. Our services
